As Director of Photography and Assistant Editor on The Ave, I helped bring to life this comedic, intense, dramatic series set against the gritty backdrop of one of the East Coast's most dangerous cities. The show follows the journey of Stix Ali, a man caught between the criminal underworld, his faith, and his role as a father. With a focus on both the visual storytelling and the nuanced performances led by Stephen "Stix" Josey, Renarda Huggins, and Ni'kaiya Pettie X, my work behind the camera helped shape the atmospheric tone and raw, visceral energy that drives the narrative.
The Ave is set to air on Peacock in late 2025.
